The Story
The northern lights, captured beneath sapphire.
The Aurora Borealis is MICHAELSON's most expressive dial to date. A multi-layered lacquer and printed scene captures the green-and-violet glow of the northern lights arcing over a dark mountain range, a full moon resting beside the shield, with applied 12 and 6 numerals and a date at three. It is a watch built to be looked into, not merely read.
The Dial
A hand-finished aurora scene — green and violet light over moonlit peaks, no two dials exactly alike.
The Movement
Swiss automatic calibre with a 38-hour reserve, assembled and regulated in-house.
The Case
40 mm of brushed and polished steel, sapphire crystal, sealed to 100 metres.
